It is an excellent process to learn the beginners sight words. Noting can be better than it as the children will get fun learning words. Because of the audio visual technique the learning will be faster and effective. I recommend “Sight Words” to others who want to teach your children sight words.

As an instructor, I can’t explain properly how significant “Sight Words” really are to the kids. They’ll understand more than 90% from the phrases they will likely to come across within their reading through. When there is a more simple or even more enjoyable way for you to exercise “Sight Words”, I’m really enthusiastic at having that.

I do teach kids sight words, but I stress phonics and skills to decode all words. In my special ed class, students really struggle with sight words so I am always on the lookout for new ways to teach them.

I teach adult developmental students, many who are ESL, so many sight words (prepositions, especially) are difficult for them to learn. I send them to websites such as http://www.storylineonline.org and http://www.startfall.com where they can watch, listen and learn, as well as interact with games that use sights words.

I am a language teacher and I have found it as a really effective way by which children or beginners can learn sight words. The way of learning is quite effective because of the entertainment and fun it provides. Children will enjoy it as they do cartoon. They will learn sight words without knowing that they are learning many things. As it is amusing they will enjoy watching it again and again, most of them will memorize the song and sing frequently. They will do all these deliberately. I think it is a great addition to the development of early childhood education.

Sight Words have been very enjoyable to children. It can really relate and is deeply appreciated by children. It is worth sharing to pre school teachers. It helps children learn the English language faster and pushes children to be more curious of new words.

Good day. I am a third grade teacher and Sight Words is a vital tool for teaching. This has helped me to learn some teaching strategies. This has helped the kids learn words faster than before and increases their fascination to learn. This is a great reference for teachers like me.

My students loved it! All of them have learned the sight words with the gesture and the newer ones, that have come in recently, are catching on quickly. I proposed to my principal that he allow us to make a DVD in our school studio and distribute a copy to all of our kindergarteners for them to practice at home. Not only kindergarteners, but any grade level that needs to practice those sight words!

If English is not spoken in the home or isn’t the child’s first language, sight words can really help. Pairing sight words with pictures increases comprehension.

Some parents may remember learning sight words, while others may have been taught to read using different techniques. Many educators believe that a combination of phonics instruction and sight words is the best method of teaching reading. Sight words are a tried and true part of teaching reading. I am sure that the child learns words quickly, and can recognize them in context, which boosts reading confidence and personal self esteem.
