Last week, I wrote another article for Teach HUB. TeachHUB brings teachers together to share their thoughts, advice, resources, recommendations, photos, lessons and more. It integrates lesson plans, professional support and services, and the latest in educational news. Each time I go and read an article or bit of news, I always feel engaged with what I am reading.

The most current article I wrote was about ways in which educators can reach out to their English Language Learners; to make sure that they are engaged, learning, participating, and feel as though they matter in their mainstream classroom. As an ELL teacher, I was lucky enough to have training and ‘pull out’ time in order to better assist my students. However, as those resources become more scarce in mainstream classrooms, it’s my hope that these tips will aide those teachers with their students.

Furthermore, as an ESL and Title I educator I have created several lessons that can be used with your students in the classroom.
