This is one of my items on my Teachers Pay Teachers Store page. It’s a great substitute teacher activity and an easy time filler for those school days when you have a lot of assemblies or various activities. And YET, it’s a great summertime activity for at home – you can make prizes and have mini competitions with the children at your house. I’ve recently made some updates and I wanted to share them with you.

Caterpillar Game

It’s a fun game that gets students to use a really large word – like say caterpillar – and find smaller words within it.

If you have older learners, or need to challenge your younger ones – you can try some extra credit.
